About Radiation Defence Cream
When should I start using it?
From Day 1 of radiotherapy, before any skin changes appear. Skin reactions usually build from the second or third week, and barrier support works best when it starts early.
Can I apply it just before my radiation session?
Apply at least 2 hours before each session and arrive with clean, product-free skin on the treatment area, unless your radiation team gives you different instructions. Their protocol always comes first.
Can I use it on broken or weeping skin?
Not without advice from your treatment team. If skin blisters, peels with moisture or opens, contact your radiation team. They may recommend specific dressings.
Can I use it with creams my doctor has prescribed?
In most cases yes, but ask your doctor which to apply first and how long to wait between them. Prescribed treatments always take priority.
Is it a medicine?
No. Radiation Defence Cream is a cosmetic product. It is designed to support skin comfort and hydration during radiotherapy and does not treat or prevent any disease.
