About CIPN Relief Cream
Does this treat neuropathy?
No. Chemotherapy-induced peripheral neuropathy is a medical condition that your oncologist manages. This is a cosmetic comfort cream: the cooling sensation and barrier care are designed to make hands and feet feel more comfortable. It does not treat or reverse nerve damage.
How quickly will I feel the cooling?
Most people feel a cooling sensation within about a minute of applying it.
I am on oxaliplatin and cold triggers my symptoms. Can I use it?
Check with your oncologist first. Oxaliplatin often causes cold sensitivity, and a cooling product may not feel comfortable for you.
Can I use it alongside medicines prescribed for neuropathy?
It is a non-drug product applied to the skin, so it is generally used alongside prescribed treatment. Confirm with your oncologist, who knows your full regimen.
Can I use it on my face or on broken skin?
No. It is made for hands and feet. Keep it away from eyes, mouth and any broken or irritated skin.
